Office Repair Tender

The Rural Municipality of Snipe Lake No. 259 is seeking tenders from qualified contractors for the replacement and repair of exterior components of the RM Office building located at 213 Main St, Eston.  The project includes roof tin replacement, fascia, soffit, eavestroughs, siding, window replacement, back door repair/replacement.  This project must be completed in 2026

Scope of Work
Roof
- Removal and disposal of existing tin roofing
- Supply and installation of new tin roof
- Ensure appropriate underlay, flashing, and ventilation

Fascia, Soffit, and Eavestrough
- Removal and disposal of existing materials
- Supply and installation of new fascia, soffit, eavestroughs, and downspouts

Windows
- Removal of five existing upper windows
- Supply and installation of five new energy-efficient windows
- Proper sealing, insulation, and interior finishing

Siding (Two Options Required)
1. Tin siding replacement
2. Hardie board siding replacement

Back Door
- Repair and replace back door using customer-supplied door.

All submissions must include proof of liability insurance, current WCB clearance, relevant project experience, and warranty information for both materials and workmanship.

Tenders must include a detailed itemized cost breakdown, a proposed schedule with estimated start and completion dates, identification of any exclusions or optional upgrades, and full company contact information with an authorized signature.

Sealed tenders clearly marked “Tender – RM Office Roof & Exterior Renovation Project” must be submitted no later than April 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Submissions may be delivered to the RM Office during regular business hours. Council thanks all contractors for their interest in this project. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
